Earflap #2

Join yarn at the (11th, 16th, 21st) ST away from the end base of the first earflap.

Example: For a toddler sized hat, the second earflap will start in the 11th ST from the attached end of the first earflap.

Earflap 2: Follow the same instructions as Earflap 1. Do not fasten off. Continue to edging.

Edging: SC around the edge of the entire hat (including both earflaps). Fasten off and weave in all tails.

Braids: Cut 6, 3ft strands for each side. Fold in half and attach to end corner of each earflap, similar to how you attach fringe. For video reference on how to attach: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qsG_4LbnAng

Then braid hanging strands and tie into knot at ends.
